'Resources'

'City Water' City Water removes all the chlorine, taste, odor, chemicals and metals from your existing municipal water system. If filtered water is du rigeur in your office or household, consider City Water, or a similar local service provider, that will filter water without the shipping and other drawbacks of bottled water companies. You can find more information on bottled water from CBC.

'Bring Your Own Bag' Many jurisdictions around the world are beginning to ban plastic shopping bags. Why wait for legislation? Most grocery stores in now offer reusable shopping bags at the point of purchase or you can bring a tote bag of your choice. Whether at home or work, consider having reusable bags on hand for lunch excursions or other shopping requirements. Even better, for takeout, bring your own container instead of relying on metal or styrofoam throwaways. More on plastic shopping bags from the Toronto Star.
